This golden way that traps the stars; And folds the silver linings of the brightest clouds; Lighting the course of summer's greatest moment; With avenues of rainbows encased within a frosted kiss; Laced about with the frequent embrace; Of lavender's sweet reminder of life's truest pleasures. Beauty is felt within this heart; Feeling simple joy at these moments passing; Feeding the souls hunger and creating longing at its absence. Walking in the light that nourishes this Eden; Giving to all living creatures that move above it, below it, or on it. The hope of warmth that begins each day and precludes each night. Walking in the light that illuminates the pollen and seed; Quietly passing on the breeze; The essence of life drifting towards a chance encounter. A spider's web is cast across the garden trail; Covered by the morning's watery blanket; Sagging gently from the weight; Every square filled with shiny mirrors; Reflecting upside down worlds, replicas of splendor. Walking in the light of the mother sun who gently cradles her child, Safe within her warm touch the child awakes once more to the mothers Soft whisperings, promises of another day |
